I received this wonderful poem from a friend who rode the country a few years ago, thank you Lois. Thought it might be a nice way to begin our blog. As you ride across the USA; May your route be beautiful, May the road be smooth, May your wheels remain true, May your tires stay hard, May your gears come easy, May your saddle be soft, May your muscles be strong, May the hills pass by quickly, May the miles fly by, May your spirits stay high, May the sun shine on you, May the wind be at your back and most of all, May your friendships always grow.

  1. This is nice Cindy. It reminds me of the Irish Blessing:
May the roads rise to meet you,
May the winds always be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall softly upon your fields,
    And until we meet again
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
